Jagga Rao is a civil engineering professional with over 35 years of experience in managing and executing high-value infrastructure projects. He retired as Assistant Vice President at K. Raheja Corporate Services (P) Ltd., where he led the development of more than 14 million IT spaces, including significant projects like the INORBIT Mall.
He specializes in pile foundations, diaphragm (D-wall) construction, prefabricated systems, and high-rise structures. He has successfully delivered notable projects such as the Gachibowli International Stadium, residential townships, irrigation systems, and highway networks at both state and national levels.
He is known for embracing modern construction methodologies and integrating the latest technologies into project execution. His forward-thinking approach and attention to detail has helped streamline operations, improve build quality, and meet demanding timelines.
Throughout his career, he has worked closely with contractors like L&T and PMCs including JLL and CBRE, and has collaborated with design consultants such as Sterling, Design Tree, and STUP Structural.

Mr. Subbarao specializes in civil structures, interior fit-outs, and high-quality finishing works, combining engineering precision with aesthetic sensibility. His proficiency spans the full lifecycle of construction—from design coordination and procurement to site execution and handover—with a strong focus on safety, timelines, and client satisfaction.

Throughout his extensive career he has played a pivotal role in shaping cost management strategies and contract administration for projects of varying scale and complexity.
With a detail-driven approach and razor-sharp analytical skills, Mr. Sharat excels in budget control, cost estimation, and tendering processes. His ability to anticipate commercial risks and provide proactive solutions makes him an indispensable asset in steering projects toward financial and contractual success.
Mr. Sharat’s vast domain knowledge spans pre-contract and post-contract functions, including preparing bill of quantities (BOQs), rate analysis, vendor negotiations, and certification of progress payments.
